Cancellation & Rain Policy

We understand travel plans can shift. Here is our straightforward refund schedule, course raincheck policy, and flight delay support.

Tour Package Cancellation Schedule

Notice Prior to Arrival Refund or Credit Policy
More than 30 days 100% refund of all funds paid, less a US$50 administrative and international banking fee.
15 to 30 days Deposit held as 100% future travel credit valid for 12 months, or 70% cash refund.
7 to 14 days 50% refund of the total package price (reflecting non-refundable hotel and contracted club tee fees).
Under 7 days or No-Show Non-refundable, as golf clubs and boutique hotels in Hanoi charge 100% late cancellation penalty.

Inclement Weather & Course Rainchecks

Northern Vietnam enjoys cool, dry weather from October through April. In the event of sudden severe weather or dangerous lightning:

  • Passing Rain: Courses in Vietnam remain open during brief rainfall. Caddies carry umbrellas and carts are equipped with rain covers. Play continues unless club sirens sound.
  • Official Course Closure: If the golf club officially suspends play due to lightning or unplayable standing water:
    • Fewer than 5 holes completed: The club issues a full 18-hole raincheck voucher or green fee credit.
    • 5 to 13 holes completed: The club issues a 9-hole raincheck voucher.
    • 14 or more holes completed: Regarded as a completed round under standard R&A and Vietnam golf club regulations.
  • Raincheck Coordination: When a club issues a raincheck voucher, Hanoi Golf Tours credits the voucher toward a replay round during your stay (subject to schedule) or applies it as a direct credit to your account.

Flight Delays & Missed Tee Times

If your flight into Noi Bai International Airport (HAN) is delayed or rescheduled by the airline, inform our concierge desk immediately via WhatsApp. We will adjust your private airport chauffeur pickup time at zero surcharge and work directly with the golf club to shift your starting tee time to a later flight on the same day or rearrange rounds across your stay.
